Peoples Income Tax, Inc., whose CEO is Chuck McCabe, member of the SCS Dean’s Advisory Council, has been named a regional semi-finalist for Virginia Business‘ 2008 Small Business Success Story of the Year.
The campus community is invited to participate in a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 21, in Cannon Memorial Chapel. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. The full program will last until approximately 3:15 p.m.
The keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Victor Lewis, Director of the Center for Diversity Leadership and an internationally-recognized leader in the field of anti-oppression diversity work and alliance-building. Lewis is best known for his inspiring and catalytic leadership role in “The Color of Fear,” a powerful film about racism. A reception will follow in the Gottwald Atrium.
