Dr. Kitchen First Speaker in Environment Series

Dr. David Kitchen, Associate Dean, will offer the first lecture in the 2008-2009 Global Environment Speaker Series (GESS). His talk, which will be offered on Tuesday, October 28, at 6:00 PM in the Gottwald Auditorium, is titled “Some Like It Hot: Welding the Cracks Between Climate Science and Policy.” The lecture is free and open to the public.

Dr. Roberts Addresses Local Rotary Club

Dr. Daniel Roberts, chair of the Liberal Arts program and executive producer of “A Moment in Time”, provided the keynote address for the Mechanicsville Rotary Club’s celebration of its 16th anniversary on September 24, 2008.
