SCS Students Serve on Library Committee

Kory Mohr, a School of Continuing Studies student earning a Bachelor of Applied Studies degree in Information Systems, has been asked to serve on the University of Richmond Libraries’ Student Library Advisory Committee (SLAC). Study Abroad Program Funded by UR Quest

The School of Continuing Studies’ first spring break study abroad program, hosted by Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, has been awarded a University of Richmond QUEST grant. The study abroad program comprises two courses: HRM 398U/598U: HRM in Latin America: Mexico and IDST 398U: Introduction to Mexican History, Culture and Business. The HRM course will be taught by Patricia Strait, chair of the Human Resource Management program, while the ISDT course will be team-taught by Daniel Roberts, chair of the Liberal Arts program, and George Hiller, adjunct associate professor.
