SCS Friend Barbara Weisenberger Passes Away
November 24, 2008With sadness the School of Continuing Studies acknowledges the passing of Barbara Weisenberger on Sunday, November 23, 2008. Ms. Weisenberger enjoyed a long tenure with the University of Richmond and the School of Continuing Studies, and she was acknowledged by many to be a “walking encyclopedia” of knowledge about the University, policies and student services – particularly in the areas of student admissions, registration and records. Any time an issue arose, the common response was “Ask Barbara… She will know!”
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time, pending the recovery of Barbara’s husband, Terry, from a recent illness. Details will be provided when they become available.
